Company Overview
Harrisonburg City Public Schools serves over 6,400 students who come from a variety of diverse backgrounds. We have one of the highest English Learner populations in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Within this population, more than 70 different countries and 60 different languages are represented. We celebrate the talents, identities, and dreams of each student and empower our students and staff to cultivate their unique gifts in order to achieve their success. We also value meaningful collaboration with each other, families, and the community so that all students are surrounded by advocates. Therefore, we are looking for teachers who will embrace the opportunity to work with students and families from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds to reach their fullest potential.
