Small, rural, innovative district of 3000 students in southwest Arizona, 10 miles south of Yuma, is seeking competent, creative, caring psychologist to work on 3-person team with 14 special education teachers, general ed staff and parents. Somerton Elementary District is primarily Hispanic with 2% Native American and 45% ELL. Located close to the border with Mexico; 2 1/2 hours drive via Interstate 8 to Phoenix and San Diego. Salary based upon years of experience (credit given up to 12 years) and level of educational attainment. Must possess or eligible to obtain and maintain Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certification. Bilingual preferred. Special Education stipend and travel expenses available.
