Qualifications/preferences:
Requires an Oregon personnel services license with School Psychologist endorsement.
Minimum of master’s degree in psychology/educational/school psychology from an accredited college/university.
Experience with cultural diversity, young children (birth to 5 years) and severely disabled populations is desirable.
Demonstrated competency in this field as noted from previous employers and/or instructors.
Must be collaborative and a team player.
PRIMARY FUNCTION To promote the highest quality educational and mental health outcomes for children, adolescents, and their families. School psychologists help children and youth succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. School Psychologists collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students that strengthen connections between home and school.
