The Department of Psychological Services in Clark County School District has approximately 170 school psychologists who are in turn supervised by licensed school psychologist administrators. School psychologists in Clark County School District are encouraged to provide a myriad of services and assistance with a broad-based service delivery model including consultation, collaboration, problem solving, counseling, mental health assistance, crisis intervention, program evaluation, training, and assessment.
We are working on a Multi-Tiered System of Supports, and utilize the RTI model to identify students suspected of a specific learning disability.
School psychologists who transfer from other districts may have their experience and/or salary considered when developing a contract. For further information about this, or jobs in school psychology both as a licensed staff member or for a paid internship in Clark County School District, contact the Keri Altig in the Department of Psychological Services @ 702.799.7465 or altigkl@nv.ccsd.net, or Suzette Asmus-Dunlap @ 702.799.7461 or asmuss@nv.ccsd.net.
